A load sensing valve (LSV), also known as an Automatic Load Balancing (ALB) or proportioning valve, is a critical component in the braking system of commercial vehicles and trailers that automatically adjusts the brake pressure applied to the wheels based on the vehicle's actual load. This prevents wheel lock-up, improves stability, and reduces brake wear.
