Warranty
Warranty Coverage
All products are supplied with a warranty against manufacturing defects only. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, incorrect installation, modification, or damage caused by external factors.
Warranty Claim Period
Warranty claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty period for the product. Claims made outside of this period will not be accepted.
Notification of Warranty Claims
All warranty claims must be submitted in writing by email to sales@airbrakedirect.co.uk
and must include proof of purchase, order reference, and a clear description of the fault.
Inspection & Testing
All items returned under warranty are subject to inspection and testing. If no manufacturing fault is found, the claim may be rejected and the item returned at the customer’s expense.
Incorrect or Invalid Claims
If a returned item is found to be free from defect or the fault is deemed non-warrantable, handling, testing, and return carriage charges may apply.
Warranty Resolution
At our discretion, valid warranty claims will be resolved by repair, replacement, or refund. Refunds, where applicable, will be issued only to the original payment method.
Exclusions
The warranty does not apply to damage resulting from:
Incorrect fitting or installation
Use outside the product’s intended purpose
Electrical damage or contamination
Modification or unauthorised repair
Failure to follow manufacturer instructions
Return Authorisation
Goods must not be returned without prior authorisation. Any items received without approval may be rejected or returned to the sender.
Carriage Costs
Carriage costs associated with warranty returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the claim is approved. Approved claims may have return carriage reimbursed at our discretion.
Terms & Conditions
All warranty claims are processed strictly in accordance with these Warranty Terms & Conditions and our general Terms & Conditions of Sale.
